Home From Las Vegas!

I thought I would post an image of myself beings that I am always behind the camera, noone ever gets to see me! Here is a shot of Kevin and I at the top of the Stratosphere!

As most of you know Kevin and I spent our 15 year Anniversary in Las Vegas. We had a great time, but missed our kids and were so ready to come home. Give me a few days to get back in the swing of things, and then I will post from there, as I have tons to share! :)

I have 2 anxious brides however, so I need to work on those...

Thunderstorms and Rainbows!

For weeks I have been trying to get these shots! In fact my boys make fun of me and tell me when I get struck by lighting they'll let everyone know why I died... for photographs! :) I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

I hope this finds all my clients, friends and family enjoying this holiday with your loved ones! I try not to post too many personal images on here, as that is not what it was intended for :) However, hopefully every once in awhile it is ok, so you know other aspects of me than just photographer :) I thought I would share this collage we posted on our family blog, over here as well! New Mexico Skies....Updated!

There are a couple of things growing on me since moving here... 1) The Mountains! 2) The Hot Air Balloons and 3) Quite possibly my favorite of all The Sky! I have never lived anyplace, where the sky is so many different, dramatic shades, all in one day! I love it! So many of you, My valuable client have stated to me that you enjoy my "Skies" images as well. So I took a minute to update them and add a few! It is a photographers dream to live around such beauty!

Wedding and Portrait Photographers International

One of my goals this year was to become a member of WPPI, and I finally did! I am so excited, there are so many things to do and learn with them. I can't wait to go to a convention in Las Vegas! One goal down, only 100 to go!

Am I willing to travel?

Absolutely! Today, I was approached about traveling! I would love to.... Weddings, Engagements, Military Functions, Senior Portraits, Reunions, Birth of a Newborn... You name it I am there! I am actually working on a special price list as we speak for those that need me out of the New Mexico region! Please feel free to contact me regarding your photographic needs!

I need alittle bit of notice, beings that Kevin will have to be with all 6 kids while I am gone... But should be no problem! Thank You ahead of time for even considering me!

Accenting the Sky...

Have you ever had a hard day, but then something great happens and makes it all better :) Well I am proud to learn that my photo was rated top notch by fellow professional photographers! You know they do excellent work themselves, so to get such awesome feed back makes it worth while... I hope you all enjoy this as well, I have said from day one there is nothing prettier than the sky here! It never ceazes to amaze me!

Goodbye Europe... Hello America!

This is a bit out of order, but I was looking for different shots than those already posted on my website. After being stationed in Europe for Eight years (2 tours of 4 years each) We are now back home! We loved Germany, my kids spent more than half their lives there. Four of them being born there makes that easy. We are currently adjusting to being back in America! I wanted to share portraits from both places with you all, Enjoy!

"Always Remember"

One of my goals when becoming a photographer was to be Kodak's Picture of the day! When I say they are very selective I am not kidding! After tons of submitted photos, "Always Remember" was finally picked, and posted in Madison Square Gardens on Memorial Day 2007. What a dream and honor come true...

"Perfect Sunset"

This photo is what started my whole career! This was my first published, awarded photo, I love it! The funny thing is my husband hates cold weather, and to be honest he also hates too hot! He was so put out with me for making him wait in the cold while i took this photo. Now he loves it of course!

These "Tough Boys" are actually my 3 sons. Dave, Broc and Heath. I took this shot on accident trying to get a different shot from the ground, literally! I am flattered that it has earned such awards!
