James and Lori's Big Day...

Meet James and Lori, my couple from Saturday's wedding in the rose garden! What they didn't realize is that I had no idea the rose garden is around the library! What an awesome surprise! The ceremony was quite wonderful, the guests were very nice and fun to be around for the day, and Pelican's where the reception was held served great food! My bride is camera shy, so I opted to give them a preview of other areas as well as a couple of them! James and Lori thank you for allowing me to take part in your day! As always, it was my honor to be there and be such a valuable part to your wedding! Your family and friends were amazing and really kind to me, so thank you for that... it is very appreciated! :)

I knew if we were just outside the library, we had to go get some images in there! They all had a great time in here taking photos, laying on the ground, and being watched by all the patrons who were in the library. There were some great shots in there!

Albuquerque Rose Garden

On Saturday I had the privilege of photographing a Wedding at the Albuquerque Rose Garden! It was so beautiful, there were quite a few Roses and other flowers in bloom, and it was a great day and perfect spot for a wedding in October!

Signature Wedding Poses! {Santa Fe, New Mexico Wedding Photographer}

My Signature Couple Pose!

My Signature Bridal Pose!
I have been asked quite a few times about and hired to take certain poses! These are the "top" two per say! I began these two poses with the help of Amanda, who saw something on my site and said "Can you do that with us, even thou we have no kids!" :) (flag pose with little boy and little girl under Promises tab)

We tried the poses, and Loved the outcome! They are now what I call my signature pose!
But not all my couples are shaped the same way, or can lay certain ways, so I looked up the definition of signature pose, and found out that It's ok, in fact encouraged to do it a tad bit different each time! This allows you, my couples, to do it how you wish!

Therefore I wanted to show you a preview of all the ways we can do these two poses! I love them! Then I am biased to my own work and clientele! Enjoy~ Let me also take a minute to say Thank You all for allowing me to make you lay on the ground, carpet or grass, on such a special day... If it's any conciliation the outcome is beautiful! :)

Jerrie and Kevin...{New Mexico Wedding Photographer}

Let me introduce you to Jerrie and Kevin. My couple from Saturdays' Wedding. I had never met them myself, until the ceremony... They were a very nice couple, even when it began to get really hot outside, and they were ready for photographs to be over! :) What a gorgeous bridal party they had! I enjoyed being with all their family and friends! And can't wait to show them all the images!

Heather and Andrew's Reception!

New Featured Item!

Upon seeing this PicFetti at Heather and Andrew's Rehearsal Dinner, this is Jody Cooper Photography's Newest Feature Item! It was really neat to see my work not only in their house, but "done" on something! They used it to decorate the tables, the candles, you name it! These particular images are from their Engagement Session, but I will be able to offer this particular item to anyone I photograph! If you want to do Christmas Images with me, we can use those... Baby shower (maternity session) Birthday, Seniors so on and so forth. The only condition is I would need to photograph the "session" per say about 3-4 weeks ahead of the event. Giving me time to edit, order, ship and get to you! I am including this offer in my Engagement Session Collection, Senior Collection, Baby Collection, and Christmas Collections but can be special ordered!

Heather And Andrew's Big Day! {New Mexico Wedding Photographer}

Heather found me quite some time ago, and said "I want you!" We struck up a deal and ... here we are today! I really wanted to photograph this wedding, there a couple of things I have fallen in love with here in New Mexico (the tourist in me can't help it) with her getting married at the Sandia Mountains, I knew they would be great images! What I didn't expect was for the ceremony to be so wonderful! Heather and Andrew have wonderful personalities, and great taste in decor! Their families were all very kind, and even let me joke around with them for a couple of days! I love the way Heather and Andrew are with one another! Andrew was alittle shy at their engagement session, but that was gone at the wedding! Heather is quite the risk taker, she doesn't mind the do not enter signs, she goes around them nicely! :) They have such affection for one another that trust me when I tell you this is a tiny sneak peek, I am not kidding! Make sure to visit my website for a couple more images!

Heather, Andrew and all your family and friends!
Thank you for much for allowing me to take part in this Awesome day! Thank You for being so kind, and allowing me to inconvenience you to get great shots! Hattie: I will pay for my own ticket to photograph your wedding one day! :) Allen, you were a great sport! I love your eye for art. Heather, I love your camera! and Andrew, Thank you for letting me dream for a minute that it was mine :) So I could set it up for Heather! You guys were both great! Jody

Allison's FairyTale Ending...

Meet Allison and R.J. my couple from Saturday's Wedding! At our consultation, Allison expressed to me all the different reasons she hired me, and would be honored for me to photograph her wedding! She really wanted "Fairy Tale endings, and to be able to get tons of images outside!" Well we woke to rain on her special morning, but low and behold, the ceremony was nothing short of a Fairy Tale, and the images reflect that. I asked R.J.'s permission to post that, he was very emotional... It was the sweetest thing to see him tear up as he watched Landon, and then Allison walk down the aisle. They are the cutest family and very sincere in their love for one another. Their attendants had the best personalities, and were so cooperative in this hot weather!
Now, I have to comment on Landon, the most handsome "ring beerier" I have ever worked with thus far, he also happens to be the Bride and Grooms' 3 year old son! I had the opportunity to meet with Landon twice prior to the wedding, and he was adorable every time! I love the images I was able to capture of him alone and with his parents!
To Allison, R.J. and Landon, Thank You for allowing me to take part in such a special day and moment in your lives! I can not wait to show you all the images! Enjoy your sneak peek ~

Priceless..... Make sure to check my website for more Images from this Wedding!

Wedding Accents...{New Mexico Wedding Photographer}

While proofing for a "friends and family" gallery this weekend, I ran across some shots I thought I would share... I love Weddings and the Accents that go along with them...
